My Electric Cigarette Experience

As a Certified Hypnotist, I have seen and counseled many people, including myself, in the art of smoking cessation. In all of my years in the industry, I have not seen one cessation product work as good as the Fifty-One Electric Cigarettes. Normally, as a professional, I would suggest to you to replace your cigarette "nic-fit" with deep breaths, sips of water, exercise or short brisk walks. If the fit had gotten so bad and I'm receiving emergency phone calls or emails in the middle of the night, I would do a live session or suggest my client pop-in their Hypnosis CD immediately. To be honest with you, my professional advice is about to change, drastically. And some of my fellow Hypnotherapists may comment negatively about Pickle's Opinion. But that is precisely why I named my blog the way I did.

I'm am going to be completely honest with you. This is only my personal story and in no way does this mean all or none of these things will apply to you. But for me, I have tried every damn thing on this planet to quit smoking. I have had 3 professional and 4 long-distance Hypnosis sessions by Doctor's of Hypnotherapy. I think I stopped smoking for 3 months with all the sessions I had received. And I wasn't looking for the magic pill or the magic wand. I REALLY wanted to stop smoking. I tried cold turkey, cutting back, scare tactics, Smoke Away, gum, and various other stop smoking gimmicks. I even tried self-hypnosis, one of the most powerful forms of hypnosis as you can truly focus on your needs and fears and desires. The more I tried, the more I smoked.

I have seen Hypnosis help so many clients to stop smoking, I've also seen it fail. For the most part, people were looking for that magic "Crutch", something that can replace the long-lost habit of holding that cigarette, inhaling that cigarette, exhaling that cigarette...And ladies and gentlemen, I think I have found it. Fifty-One Electric Cigarettes.

Let me tell you, my fiance bought this electronic cigarette kit for me and I have absolutely fallen in love with it. I opened up the package, tore open the pre-charged plastic cigarette, attached my nicotine filter and started puffing away, on what felt like a real cigarette, tasted like a menthol cigarette (available in menthol and non-menthol), and smoked like a real cigarette. But it was 1000 times safer than a real cigarette, and only contained nicotine and water vapor. This E-Cigarette allows one the freedom to smoke virtually anywhere - without the flame, ash, tar, or carbon monoxide and 598 other harmful additives and chemicals found in traditional tobacco cigarettes.

I have not smoked a real cigarette in 10 days. No nic-rage. No irritability, no family or pets running away from me in fear, no feeling like I can walk through walls to get a drag off a smoke. None of that. When I felt a nic-fit approaching, I would simply take a drag off my electric cigarette and my craving was completely satisfied. I am impressed. Everyone needs to switch to these. I have smoked for 26 years, I was a heavy smoker, 1-3 packs a day at times. I thought I was doomed to become a non-smoker. But I was wrong. This device may have quite possibly saved my life, my children's lives, my pet's lives...it is an amazing product.

I recommend this product to anyone over the age of 18. And I also am going to recommend it to all of my clients who come to me for smoking cessation. This product along with some really good sessions, will definitely help you kick that smoking habit, once and for all. Buy it here!

Obama's Making Home Affordable Program - Is It Working?

When the housing market come crashing down on American's they were left with what seemed like a heartfelt choice from the Obama Administrations the "Making Homes Affordable" program. This program is expertly marketed, commercials showing heart-breaking stories of families just like you and I, struggling to keep their homes and their families together. You have probably even shed a tear watching or reading about these success stories like I have. But if you look at it from a lower-middle-class perspective, you start reading between the lines and notice that these people live in pretty modest homes, have a solid income, their savings account is probably worth more than the average American's home. Their home is more than likely appraised at $250,000 or significantly more. And what about their material items? HDTV's in every room, state-of-the art appliances, furniture, lavish flooring, window treatments, they may have two or three cars in the heated integral garage, they are all wearing the best clothes, the most expensive jewelery, the best education for their children. These are individuals who have clearly taken on more than they can afford.

Take a look around an average American's home and personal belongings. Their home is typically appraised anywhere from zero to $90,000. You're lucky if you have a car, and if you do, it's not very reliable. You shop at the thrift stores, dollar stores, and Wal-Mart. You sell your old dusty shit on eBay, or your most prized possessions like a comic book collection or coin collection, just to pay the bills. You work for peanuts. You're health-care is shoddy, if you even have it at all. Your clothes are worn and your children attend public school. Starbuck's is a luxury and you cannot afford it. Everyday has been a struggle and you know tomorrow will be even more of a struggle.

Both scenarios apply for the Making Home Affordable program. Scenario B, the lower-to-middle income bracket, applied in June and they were denied on the consolidation program. They are still waiting on the outcome of their loan modification program. They have faced foreclosure twice since they had applied. And will soon be facing it gain. I know a couple who were harassed several times a day, everyday, by their mortgagor's collection team. They would call twice an hour, and on a good day, every hour on the hour, just to let my friends know they were late on their mortgage payment and when can they expect a payment. When my friend responded, "What about the status of my loan modification?" They would get the typical, "I'm sorry sir, it is still in review." In review for nearly 7 months. Just recently, my friend's tried to get a state loan through a local government program. Their counselor had said that he did not know of one household who was approved for any of Obama's Making Home's Affordable programs. Not one. And she advised my friend's to call their State Senator and complain about how long the process is taking. Not their mortgage company as it has no control over this process. Oh, and by the way, my friend did not qualify for that state loan because they did not make enough money. I am willing to bet that Scenario B will be denied on the Obama program as well.

And Scenario A, well, let's just say their asses will still be pampered. They meet the acceptable income bracket and don't have to pay for shit anyway. Give it to them, they clearly don't need it.

New and Improved Blog!

I have not updated this blog in FOREVER. Since the introduction of the very unique concept of Hypnothoughts 2 years ago, I did decide to close the doors on my hypnosis referral service. The market is really not there anymore. And Hypnothoughts is the best place out there where one can match themselves up to a Certified Hypnotherapist. If you are looking for one in your area, just simply post to the forums and or join their live chat and you'll find a professional within hours, if not minutes. So head on over to http://www.Hypnothoughts.com and good luck. Also, almost all of the hypnosis links on this blog do not work anymore. No more tests, no more websites, just hardcore advice from here on out. I really love to touch on relationship advice, stress/anxiety, weight loss, smoking cessation, plus a variety of other topics, so look out for these posts and if you need advice, please comment!

I'm still available for counseling through this blog and through email, and I will continue to post advice on many issues in the future. In the meantime, I have decided to turn this blog into one opinionated son of a gun. My topics will include anything that comes to my mind! And for the conservative types who visit my blog, just remember, "It's only Pickles Opinion."
